D3K situation
R1 on third, 2 outs, 2 - 2 count. F1 bounces pitch and batter swings and takes off for first. R1 comes home and reaches before the play at first retires the batter. Does the run count??

We have actually spent some time in clinics discussing the is. FP NHFS Is it necessary for the umpire to put the ball back in play after a foul ball, dead ball (Don't say it), or when time is called?
