Old Days
I have been told that an old days rule or mechanic was not to allow water to players during a 30 second time out - makes no sense to me - but was there such a thing?

Delay?
I have had two games where a team calls a time out and then the player with the ball takes a practice shot instead of giving the ball to the official.
I don't see that as a delay in the rule book...

Unwritten rule?
I am not familiar with the unwritten rule, but my understanding is that ejected adult bench personnel shall leave the vicinity (out of sight - and sound) of the players immediately and are prohibited...

I've seen it - but never seen it called
Shooter gets a pass in the corner for a 3 point try. He takes a quick baby hop before jumping into his shot - I think that is a travel by rule - do you call that?

Stumped a bit
4th down and 6 - team A gains 5 yards - so the ball would be turned over on downs - after the play is dead Team B is flagged for piling on (dead ball foul)
Is it 1st down for A or for B?

L has the ball go out of bounds at the end line but either doesn't have a good look or the ball may have been touched bang - bang...
