I guess I should really look this up before I respond, but my gut feeling is if a player is on the LOS at the snap even though he is an eligable reciever he would still have to recieve the ball five...

Sounds like we are nit picking here. If the DL would jump you might have a case, but if they don't, why, as I said, nit pick a call. Just another case of a needless game interuption.

thanks for the reply. But tell me how you rule that situation. Do you use a yardage rule of thumb or just don't call it unless you have contact or reciever muffs the ball?...
