Fielders only have to be in fair territory...

You got it all mixed up. The Umpire in Chief is always the plate umpire. The Crew Chief is like a team leader or team captain and stays the same no matter where they call.

Also had one lately. Only about 3rd time in 23 years a pitcher dropped the ball while on the rubber. As I thought to myself (on bases) "Did he really do that?" my partner calls "Balk" !!!
