Rink markings not highly visible
Why would you do if you arrived at a rink to officiate a game & when skating on the ice, you can barely see the rink markings (face-off circles, center line, blue lines...)?

Work the game. Make a report after.

Ok, 2nd question, (especially since I cannot find a clear answer), what is the bare minimum for the marking to be visible?
Was watching a game last night where you could barely see the center line, blue lines & the perimeter neutral zone face-off spots, but was unable to see the goal lines, creases, center face-off, or zone face-off marks. The center, blue, & goal lines were marked on the boards.

Ice time is expensive, and in a lot of areas, hard to reschedule. Faint faceoff dots dont bother me much...and I can see the lines on the boards. |

I usually force the facilities guy to melt it down, repaint the markings, then put the ice back. Your mileage may vary.
