5 games against the same team (regular season)
As an official (on-ice &/or off-ice) or a coach, how would you prepare to play the same team 5 games in a row in the regular season?

I'd prepare by talking to my assigner and asking him why I'm working the same team 5 games in a row. That's a recipe for disaster.

In the one league, where I assist as an off-ice official, we have had a rotation of the same 6-8 guys the whole season for the home games. Only once or twice did we see a new on-ice official.
2 of those games will be away & 3 will be at home. Part of the reason for the scheduling the way it is, a 5 team league with a 40 game schedule (5 home, 5 away).
