I am a contract specialist for the Dept of Navy doing market research for sport officials in the state of Virginia.

What I would like to know is the following:
1) Do you have any type of governing bodies that identify different levels of officials certification for the state of Virgina?
2) Is there a difference in pay depending on the type of sport and different certification?
3) Is there a different pay structure for regular type games and tournament type games?

I would appreciate any feedback from the field.

Thanks!

What interest does the Dept. of the Navy have in certification and pay structures of sports officials?

I would imagine that they're interested in hiring sports officials to work on naval installations, and want to set up a fee schedule.

Well, based on what they pay for toilet seats, I would say $100,000 per game sounds about right.
