Banner ad annoyance
 
Technical question for the geeks among us. Is there any way to stop seeing a particular ad or particular kind of ad that keeps recurring in the banner ads? There's one organization's ads that I just HATE and I get them all the time.

I'm using Google Chrome browser on an XP platform. Any help?

I use CookieCop and don't get any ads. It's an old program, don't know if it works with Chrome.

Thanks for the tips. I haven't tried that adblocker, because I thought it was for pop-ups rather than banner ads. I'll give it a try.

Firefox AdBlock blocks banner ads. I know, because I only see the ads on my iPad, not anywhere else.
