Anyone know why this function has been disabled?

i don't this is my first day but you have been on since 2001 you should know alot

So, are the board administrators and monitors not ever going to clue us in on why the members pages and the search functions of this board have been disabled?

By the way, Steph, neat movie. How'd you do that?

There were some people trying to use this board as a SPAMing board -- they were signing up new members and adding a "home page" link for their products and other junk (I'm sure you can get the idea).

For now the members list is disabled, but it is only temporary -- we are looking at how we can improve our discussion board software.

Any timeline on when this "temporary" disabling of the members feature will be rectified?

Does any monitor or administrator know when the member's feature or the search feature are going to be restored?
