Coach pulls team from the field

I'm curious if anyone has had a coach pull his team from the field/court.

I was at the AIF indoor football championship game between West Michigan and Columbus (Ga.). Columbus led 74-32 with around 5:00 left when a Columbus player intercepted a pass. The DB was showboating a bit on the return and a West Michigan player knocked the Lion over the boards and into the stands. A fan tried to fight (and was ejected) and both teams had multiple players ejected in the scuffle.

As the teams were separated, WM HC Tyrece Lync pulled his team off the field. The head referee announced the penalties and ejections. Coach Lync came back onto the field, towel in hand, and threw it on the field. The head referee went over and talked with him. I'm not sure what happened immediately after that, but a minute later the scoreboard clock hit zero, the horn sounded and the PA announcer said the game was over.

Whatever sport you officiate, have you ever had a coach take his team off and end the game?

I was not there but a Girls Varsity Basketball game did.
No fight, but som T's & losing coach pulled his team off the floor. Can't remember the exact details but the coach was upset with the officials and the other team running up the score.

Years ago doing a JV boys soccer game, the coach pulled his team after one of his players received a red card. of course it caused them to forfeit the game and we got to go home early.

As a player

19U soccer match. Our men's team had a female player who was good in midfield but she was the victim of some cheap shots throughout the game. Our captain had made several appeals to the referee and our manager had voiced his concern as well. About 5 minutes into the 2nd half she gets taken down by a tackle from behind and a hair pull. She was cautioned for simulation and our manager came unglued and was sent off. Our team sat down on the pitch and refused to budge. The officials declared a forfeit and left.

The opposing manager and our manager got together and agreed to finish the match with them officiating. (Both were fairly well respected high school officials.) The opposing manager pulled his kid who had committed most, including the last cheap shots and even apologized to our team for not pulling him sooner.
