NCAA rules --The Punt Returner catches the ball at the 10 yardline and returns it to the 25 yardline. While the ball was in flight, there is Holding against the receiving team. Where is the ball placed? (I think the 5 yardline)

Same play as above. If the hold occurs after change of possession. Is it a spot foul.

Your correct on the 1st play, ball on the 5 yd line, PSK.

On the Hold during the run, you apply the all but one principle. The basic spot being the end of the run.

In the 1st play it depends on where the hold took place. If in advance of the 10 then enforce from 10. If behind the 10, then from spot of foul.


In the 2d, as has been pointed out, it is a "basic spot" foul. Enforce from end of run unless foul is behind end of run. In that case enforce from spot of foul.

I agree with TXMike. If PSK foul is behind the basic spot, the end of the kick, the penalty is marked from there. Too early this morning.
