Hey guys, If my son's glove is palmgard grip tack and it says nf/ncaa approved will he be able to use it in a middle school football game?

NF/NCAA label applies only to the tackiness of the glove. The construction of the glove itself can only be determined by the game umpire as to its legality.

From what you described the answer is probably yes. But the final authority lies with the game's umpire.

If it has the emblem it should be good. The only ones with emblems (from what I understand they have them) that are not are the ones with webbing between the thumb and "pointer" or fore fingure. I have not seen any of these (yet) to know if they actually have the "approval" emblems.

A glove can have the webbing and the NF/NCAA approval.

All the NF/NCAA approval approves is the tackiness of the glove, nothing about the construction. Even if, the NF/NCAA approval label is there yu still have to rule on the legality of the construction.

Right, we went over this I belive last season. The NF/NCAA sticker is only part of determining if the glove is legal.
As pointed out, the tackiness would be legal with that label, but the webbing construction makes it illegal.
