Please tell me how to handle the folowing enforcement for some reason my mind has went blank.
A punts ball to B which returns ball to 10 yard line. On A's 40 yd line we have a block in the back after b posesses punt. We also have a 5 yard facemask on A on the tackle. How is this enforced and why? |
enforce the block in the back using the All but one principle...the one being a foul by the offense behind the basic spot, B ball 1st and 10 from the 50. They must decline the penalty by A to keep the ball, they recieved the ball with clean hands so they decline penalty by A to keep the ball, A has no choice, the penalty is enforced.

If B accepts A's foul for the facemask, you have a double foul and will replay the down. B can keep the ball by declining the FM foul and will be penalized from the spot of their foul at the 40 yard line.

I know I should not bring this up... but, and I'll scream it out... THIS IS NOT A PSK SITUATION... even if the offended teams coach says it is. :)
