Per what I've read, Alabama uses 7 for all varsity games.

Unusual position for a B in a 7-man crew. Alabama has always been a state that does what they want, though...

I'm envious, though. I'd love to work 7 on Friday nights.

Agreed, that is strange. We use pretty much the straight CCA mechanics for 7.

I have a couple of games this year that are 7 including this Friday. It's nice to have the additional coverage. There was a push this year to go 7-man for all varsity games in Houston this year but that didn't quite make it. I suspect it will in the next year or two.

Has anyone watched the HS games on ESPN this past weekend played in Alabama? It appears that they are lining up the BJ in the middle of the field directly behind the kicker.

Supposed to be the U in a 7-man crew.

Of course our first kickoff of the season, K decided after the RFP to straddle the 35.

What is the Fed requirement? They'd be legal in NCAA.

In FED, they have to be completely inside the 35.

We're moving our BJ To the middle of field also. HL will have the kicking teams line, and LJ will have receiving teams line. Umpire and referee at normal spots.
