Maybe it's a regional thing, or I need to expand my sphere of contact, but I have yet to meet an experienced official who would allow such overly technical silliness to stand.

When a player satisfies the requirement of touching OOB, to become OOB, he is OOB.

If a player is touching OOB, he is OOB. If he is not touching OOB, he is not OOB.

Why is that so hard to understand?
