Prison inmate suing NFL, says Steelers should be in playoffs instead of Chargers

From the article:
But the Chargers were in an illegal formation on the missed field goal and should have been penalized, which would have given Succop another chance at the field goal from five yards closer. Had he made it, the Chargers almost certainly would have been eliminated and the Steelers would have made the playoffs. But no penalty was called, and the NFL acknowledged a day later one should have been called.
Hmm....could the NFL then sue the officials to recoup the costs because of their missed call? ;)

This sounds like, yet another, great example of what my mother meant when she scolded me that, "An idle mind is the devil's workshop". Too bad there wasn't a road that needed cleaning up, a wall to be painted or some prison laundry that needed attention.

This will go up to the United States Supreme Court (insert sarcasm). A more riveting case has not been seen since Marbury v. Madison.

Who was the favorite in that one?

He's right, but it's certainly not a lawsuit that I ever expected to see.
