Chicago vs. Minnesota ejection video request

About 5:00 to go in the 3rd quarter, Bears throw a touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffrey. Vikings #20 is ejected for making contact with an official after the play was over.

My question is, how can you justify ejecting the Vikings player here and not the Green Bay player for doing the same thing (if not more severe) on Thanksgiving Day vs. Detroit?

They just showed a good replay of it...it came with the clock stopped at 2:35 in the third.

Tatoo this on your forearm, "no 2 plays in any football game, much less different football games are EXACTLY alike". It's a really bad idea to think benevolence at one game creates a license to be stupid at another.

IMHO, the player in the DET/GB game should've been ejected.

Pretty simple, really: Don't touch the officials.

Maybe they shouldn't be touching players when it's not necessary, too. Works both ways.

Today's official got it right, Thursday's got it wrong?

I'd like to see less breaking up of players and more flags. Would probably solve some of those problems.

He threw it too.

I agree, the official today got it right, the official on Thursday got it wrong.

Different situations - yes... but I REALLY think the official on Thursday should have flagged that.

He did Flag it, just didn't eject. Looks to me like the Viking had more to say and it was probably more personal.
