Fine, probably. I don't see a suspension coming for the same reason, I have a hunch, why he wasn't ejected, and that was because he didn't initiate contact.

Simple. The BJ contacted him before the shove.

The "look" the BJ gave Williams was effective in persuading Williams his foot was hovering over a land mine, and Williams correctly understood it to suggest an instant change of direction was advised.
Developing a "look" that speaks absolute certainty any additional comment or gesture will only cause serious pain is perhaps an officials most useful tool. |

My GUESS on the non-ejction is it was one of two things afterward: 1. He didn't feel right in ejecting what he didn't actually SEE. We all know flagging and ejecting are 2 different things. He knew what happened and can write it up. But just in case, he may not have felt the extra scrutiny could be fully justified. 2. The Packer said something to him after the contact that mitigated things. Of course, it could have been as simple as the BJ thinking, "that's 15 but nothing more." I saw it live and saw the Packers coach chew him out. |
