Lock him up.

Agreed MD.

Why is the coach blaming the official for his kid pulling off the helmet and then hitting a player with it?

No wonder these things happen, no accountability by the people that are supposed to lead. I am not sure what blowing the whistle is going to do for a player not knowing when to stop.

Peace

Since we don't see the whole play and this is a ground level shot, I'd be interested to know what happened four yards up the field that made the difference in whipping off a guy's lid and bashing him with it and not doing so.
It must be epic:rolleyes:

I understand the one games suspension. In NC its two games for fighting. However, if the school doesn't park this kid or the administration doesn't park this kid, then the state athletic association needs to do it. This wasn't a fight, it was an assault with, in many states what would be considered, a deadly weapon.

He has no business playing scholastic athletics any longer.

Exactly. Coach said "nothing serious happened." Pssssh, yeah right... a kid ripped a helmet off another player and hit him twice with it. I'd like to see his definition of serious.

As for the player (#15 white), suspend him for the entire year and file charges.

Sad.

What was really striking to me... the coach interviewed in the video is the coach of the PLAYER WHO WAS ATTACKED.

There are no words.
