More padding the issue of concussions and better helmets

Thoughts? Anyone seen them yet?

Our state supervisor presented our annual clinic last night. He is on the NFHS equipment sub-committee. As stated in the article, NOCSAE will not support their certification if the helmet has any alteration to it.

Somebody, and it may have been posted on the other main officiating site, posted these a year or two ago. They kind of look like rugby caps.

Interesting development. Of course, this old timer has seen many changes in equipment. Maybe this one needs closer examination.
