The thing that we seem to forget about hurdling is that it's only hurdling if the hurdlee is on his feet.

2-21 Hurdling is an attempt by a player to jump with one or both feet or knees foremost over an opponent who is contacting the ground with no part of his body except one or both feet.

No, don't ever call this. How many players do you know that can jump over a man while he's standing on one or both feet? "Sorry coach, your player's knees were touching the ground."
