I'm wondering if the receiver on the try let the ball get to the goal line, but I'll defer to the guys on the field.

right. I think he was confused by the yellow line, which appears to be the soccer endline, and is (about) in the middle of the endzone.

Well, yes.. but did the receiver allow the ball to cross the soccer end line? If he did, it's a 2 point conversion. If not, however, it's only 2 points.

And remember, unlike football, in soccer the entire ball must cross over the line for a goal to count. :)

I had a middle school coach that called it the Gold Line! I once said coach you know it is Goal Line, right? He looked at me real weird and says, Why do you think they paint it GOLD!!! Some teams did use yellow lime for the Goal Line back in the 70s so he thought it was GOLD!!! :)

Hey, makes sense to me. The NASL had a "yellow line". Fed's proceedings during the 1940s included a proposal to rename the goal line since the goals had been moved to the end lines.

Mostly I just wanted to share the video that I found on youtube. It appeared to be an exciting last couple of minutes.

After watching it at home, I could clearly see that the yellow line I was looking at was the soccer field line. 720p makes a big difference. And even if it WAS the goal line, at home I've got other software that let's me easily frame-by-frame view the video, and it was easy to see that the ball crossed THAT line, as well.

Yes. The two receivers on the right side were both off the line. 84 is lined up in an eligible position.
