I just finished working a high school
scrimmage for spring football here in SW FL.
Of course we had no such thing back in CNY
(Syracuse area) when I worked back north.
I'm wondering if anyone else here, beside
Florida has spring football ??????

Many of the larger schools in Texas have it (but that means 1 less week of Summer (pre-school) football they can have. They play intrasquad games at the end of Spring ball, notgames against other schools.

New York is a bit backwards when it comes to football.

Is there anywhere else in the country where teams are restricted to 2 scrimmages and 8 regular season games?
