ACC/Big East Bowl Crews
 

Props to the Big East crew in the South Carolina-Nebraska game and the ACC crew in the Wisconsin-Oregon game on two well officiated games. Both crews were given lots to deal with throughout their games and do a great job IMO.

Brad Allen (R) is a member of our local high school association and is as fine a man as he is an official. I'm proud to call him a friend and officiating partner. What a great job today! But then, I've come to expect that of Brad. The sky is his only limit.

I really enjoy watching Brad work a game when I can! He always did a solid job and his mechanics are sound. Please pass along my praises from me on the job his crew did. I live in Big Ten country but I love watching solid officials and solid crews from other conferences that I can learn from work big games.

I believe that both wings were instructors at the ACC mini-clinic back in december. I know the HL ran our class.

I certainly will. We have a basketball doubleheader in a couple of weeks.

The umpire, Mike Webster, is the NCHSAA booking agent for the Coastal Plains Association.

They did an outstanding job in that game. I was glad they did so well with all the tough calls they had.

What is your opinion of crew work here? I see replay official taking a lot of heat for overturning VT TD in OT.

I thought the crew in the U of M/VT game struggled for most of the night on both sides of the field.
