Team A scores and after the try, Team B is penalized for two unsportsmanlike fouls. Team A free kicks from Team B's 30 yard line. The kick goes out of bounds, untouched, at Team B's 3 yard line. What are the choices for Team B?

The options are the same as they would be had the USC fouls not been committed. Nothing is any different except where the ball was kicked from.

R can accept a 5-yard penalty from the previous spot and have K rekick, accept the penalty by putting the ball in play at the inbounds spot 25 yards beyond the previous spot, or decline the penalty and put the ball in play at the inbounds spot.

So, it either rekick from the 35, 1st & 1O from the 5, or 1st & 10 from the 3.

NCAA
Since the options in NCAA include taking the ball 30 yards from Team A restraining line, we have a dilemma. I am just going with my gut here and saying we might let Team B take the ball at the 15 (using the "1/2 the distance" rationale). The other options are taking ball at out of bounds spot (not likely) or making Team A rekcik from the Team B 35.
