Video: Streaker dressed as ref blows a play dead in the UCLA-Arizona game. Then it gets crazy. - Dr. Saturday - NCAAFBlog - Yahoo! Sports

My fault, I was late and in my haste I went to the wrong game.
My crew doesn't wear socks.

They don't usually come to the game naked. ;)

bigjohn Fri Oct 21, 2011 11:25am

My crew (Las Vegas area) uses the black shorts for most games below Varsity level. I bought mine the same size as my white ones without trying them on, and they're a little tight. Sometimes, they start riding up and I have to remind myself that I am not just wearing my boxers.

Now you guys have a good idea of what happens in my games.

JugglingReferee Sun Oct 23, 2011 07:18am

I think it's funny that the guy went to considerable detail to look like an official. And his stopping the clock mechanic looked decent, along with the run to see the R.

As if you needed more proof that the USA is over-litigious.

UCLA-’Zona update: Suspensions for brawling players, felony charge for reality show-inspired streaker - Dr. Saturday - NCAAFBlog - Yahoo! Sports

He was charged with "criminal impersonation" of a ref. Good grief. What do the cops do during Hallowe'en? They need to keep perspective.

APG Mon Oct 24, 2011 11:24am

Am I suppose to feel sorry for the guy? There's a very easy way for him to avoid being charged with criminal impersonation...don't come to a football game dressed as a football official, run onto the field where you have no business being, then strip down to your underwear.

I only wish that the police could have somehow directed him towards the fight that broke out.

Justice would have been swift for him then. :D

Not only did he come onto the field, he stopped play and might have been indirectly in the reasoning for a huge fight. And people do not become charged for impersonating a cop for dressing up, it is their actions that suggest they are a cop to deceive people. This guy was in a uniform deceived people for a moment.

Peace
