I had the fortune of seeing Bubba play at Michigan State. He was an imposing figure on the field and was part of probably the greatest MSU team ever. They also had Gene Washington, George Webster, Jess Phillips, Clint Jones, et al. They thumped Woody's Buckeyes something like 31-7 the day I saw them play. Duffy Daugherty was the coach.
