I am not making fun, I just thought it was a funny moment...even the he laughed at him self..LOL

Can't pull up the link here, but was this the guy from the Houston Dallas game? If so, I saw it (if not, there's a pretty good Wanna Get Away moment in it). I don't think I've ever seen a referee stop mid thought and say, "Excuse me a moment" while miked. Oh my.

That's the one, Mike. It was pretty ugly, but he seemed to take it in stride.

I got some good advice recently -- in complex reporting scenarios, have someone nearby in case you need help. If the U had this written down and was within whispering distance....

I loved the "Excuse me a moment."

I've been looking for video of Mike Carey's little dance with the players trying to recover a fumble. I think he was on the Raiders game, but I haven't seen a clip of it online.

I thought Carl handled it pretty well... he certainly had a mouth full to say.
