Film editing

What programs do you use to edit game films?
What programs do you use to show game films?

I downloaded AVS Film Editor and AVS DVD Copy, paid about $30 I think to download.

Later on I found out my Toshiba came loaded with Ulead Movie Factory which was much faster and simpler to use.

For Youtube clips, I downloaded a free program- Youtube Downloader- that also allows you to convert the files from Flash to say WMV or AVI.

The Toshiba DVD player doesn't seem to work well with a projector hardware so I normally just use Windows Media to show.

I imagine there are much more expensive programs that may be better. I just located these in web searches for little time and little to no expense.

Our Association has used Ulead Video Studio 11 for the last few years. It does a good job & is pretty user friendly. As with most software, I could suggest a few changes to improve it for our needs but it does the trick in capturing useful video clips & editing them for educational showings (e.g., zoom, slow speed, basic arrow graphics, etc.).

Google something called the "Easy Cap". It's around $15 and does an excellent job of capturing your game film! It also comes with Ulead Video Studio, but if you don't like that, you can always use windows movie maker... Can't beat the quality for the price!
