Davis Call
I`m fine with it. but what is the difference between Floyd Incomplete Stokley Complete |
Quote:
2:54 Word for word (speaking of the difference between the Floyd and Stokely plays) "The big thing you have to focus on is did he get both feet completely on the ground before he was hit. If he didn't then he's got to hold onto it when he hits the ground." Crystal clear to me. |

But then was the Stokley ruling wrong. Also bang-bang play. |

You seeing a catch as complete and someone else seeing it as incomplete doesen't guarantee either of you is absolutely correct, you've just reached different conclusions based on all the many variables involved. The ONLY conclusion that really matters is that of the official making the call, whose only technical assistance available at that moment is his natural eyesight, which can be enhanced, or degraded, by his positioning, possible obstacles, unintended distractions, etc. If you see the call differently, that's OK, but it's not going to change anything and for all practical purposes, doesn't really matter, except perhaps tp you. |
