I think Pereira explained it very well.

2:54 Word for word (speaking of the difference between the Floyd and Stokely plays) "The big thing you have to focus on is did he get both feet completely on the ground before he was hit. If he didn't then he's got to hold onto it when he hits the ground."

Crystal clear to me.

But Floyd got both feet down before the hit. Then he said bang-bang play. OK.

But then was the Stokley ruling wrong. Also bang-bang play.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought the entire concept behind the phrase "Bang-Bang" means that the call could go EITHER WAY, and be correct. Once you understand and ACCEPT that football plays are like snowflakes, many are similar but no two have ever been exactly alike, seeing calls differently takes on a whole new perspective and should make it easier for you to "move on" and enjoy the rest of the game.

You seeing a catch as complete and someone else seeing it as incomplete doesen't guarantee either of you is absolutely correct, you've just reached different conclusions based on all the many variables involved. The ONLY conclusion that really matters is that of the official making the call, whose only technical assistance available at that moment is his natural eyesight, which can be enhanced, or degraded, by his positioning, possible obstacles, unintended distractions, etc.

If you see the call differently, that's OK, but it's not going to change anything and for all practical purposes, doesn't really matter, except perhaps tp you.

I think you need to listen to what Pereirra is saying during the videos. He does a wonderful job of explaining why each play was ruled as it was. Watch (and listen to) each video again.
