Help

The linesman throws a flag for fighting, the kid swings and misses and then kicks the other player in the helmet. Referee doesn't eject the kid, even when the crew wanted the kid ejected. What do you do?

Have a serious talk with the R before the next snap to understand why he won't eject a player for something that requires an automatic ejection. If he won't back down I'll move on at that point but then seriously think about remaining on the crew assuming this is a crew situation. If it is random assignments I would request to not work with that R any longer.

File a report with the OSSAA.

I agree with both pieces of advice. First, try to convince your R on the field to do what the rule requires. This call is an absolute no-brainer, and the R is jeopardizing his officiating career by ignoring it.

But don't hold up the game, quit, or otherwise make it everybody else's problem. The ejection should have occurred on the field, and the player sanctioned by the state. Write the report as if he had been ejected, in order that both the player and (if the state sees fit) the official are sanctioned.
