I love watching our crew videos, but since we get one angle I have to consistently remind myself we're not seeing the whole picture.
I agree and I feel the same way when I watch my crew work.

Peace

Question for the Fed guys:

how often, if ever, do you see a player try to take advantage of the rule by--WHOOPS!--fumbling forward late in the game on 4th down?

(also, is Ken Stabler on the NFHS rules committee or something?)

Honestly, I have never actually seen a player do this. Players at this level are not that smart and savvy to do such a thing. I am sure it happens, but I just have never seen it.

Peace

I agree. It bugs me when someone uses the old "well, he could purposely break a rule in the middle of the play and gain an advantage" argument.

chymechowder, I am not knocking you for your question at all, it's a very legitimate question. It's just a personal peeve of mine when someone's argument comes down to something like a rule being unfair because a player can do something illegal to circumvent the rule. Like Rut said, they ain't that smart, especially in the middle of a play.

I think you mean "legal". Anyway, the rule book was composed of a series of answers to such situations, so I don't understand the peeve.
