Camps?

I keep hearing about these football officiating camps, but when I search online, all I find is old references to camps in years past (e.g. 2005). Where can I find a camp to go to in my area (Missouri)? Do they have them every year? Would you recommend going to them? Do you go to them every year or just once? How much do they cost? Do they feature live action with real players and if so, where do they get the players?

Depends on where its being held. USA Football puts on camps in those states that allow spring drills. Otherwise they are usually one day clinics.

Start looking in late January, early February. Honig's and USA Football will usually list them on their web sites.

Might be kinda far to travel, but an awesome camp...

worth every penny. Held at Fresno State University and one of the assistants is a guest speaker. Pat Hill even spoke at this last camp, although it was mostly joke time from him. They have guys from all over the country come to this. We had Florida guys at the last camp.
