Nice article, but I like how it took the other lady only 5 years (mentioned in a link in this article) of experience to make college ball in the Southwest Conference . It seems like it takes most officials more time than that, so she must be more of a phenom than Sarah who took 10 years before she made it. However, Sarah does have the eye of a retired 25 year NFL veteran who worked 3 super bowls.

Both of these stories prove that many, many guys (and gals) must be ready for higher levels of the game even if they never get there. Not saying preparation is not important, but there are other factors in play which may prevent most of us from ever getting to those higher levels. Not saying that is unfair, just stating a fact.
