Black Pants for Football Officials

If you are looking for black pants for football officials, you can purchase them from Gerry Davis Sports (Appleton, Wisconsin). They have belt loops for a standard football officials belt, white stripe that runs the length of the pants, they come in even waist sizes 30 to 50, they have an expansion waistband – located on both sides of the pants - which allows the official to adjust the waist according to the amount of layers of clothing they are wearing, two front pockets, two back pockets; one with a buttoned flap and an additional, smaller front pocket designed for placement of your penalty flag. Their web site is www.gerrydavis.com; their phone number is 800.916.9088.

Hope this helps!

They've been in Honig's for several weeks now.

Black Football Pants

From what I've heard Honig's pants do not have belt loops, an expansion waist, and they only come in s, m, l, xl and xxl; not in actual waist sizes (even sizes 30 to 50). Not quite sure if they have pockets or not. I also heard they will not be available until mid-October. Thanks for the information though.

Thumbs down Attn webmaster: Please delete this entire thread

It is abundantly apparent that this "Barney Fife" is nothing more than a sales rep for Gerry Davis Sports, so...

Thank you!

I had a few crew members interested in these for late in the season, so I emailed the WIAA (Wisconsin). No go for this season - they'll discuss it during a meeting in December.

Actually, that's OK with me. One less thing to coordinate.

Well, Barn, I've got the catalog and the picture looks pretty well like you described the pants that Gerry Davis has. Nothing against Gerry Davis, I just got a great deal last month on the standard Cliff Keen knickers- $20 per pair.

My understanding is they came out too late for NC to consider this season. I'm still not a huge fan of the wide, white stripe but it looks 1000 times better than the NFL knickers with the black stripe.

MN is not going with them for this year either. I was hoping they would, but no go.
