Video From Arizona/Atlanta Game
Football's not my sport, but I know enough to know that Carl Paganelli is one of the more experienced football officials in the country.
So I wonder, is this an approved mechanic for the U? Generally one must first purchase the other dinner before this move is permitted in polite society. YouTube - Foul on the play |

I can tell you for sure that sort of thing is an absolute "no-no" north of the border, even if you're married to the guy (not that there's anything wrong with that). You guys in the US have some pretty nutty mechanics for umpires, so maybe that's a go down there, but in the Great White North......not a chance.
Or, is this part of that "A-11" stuff you guys have been screaming about the past week? |

A recent assignment as yours truly as the U; I used this mechanic from time to time. The game was called the Lingerie Bowl. Perhaps you've heard of it?

Is that holding or a personal foul?
Peace

I know this is splitting hairs, but I'd say illegal use of the hands....
