R turning back for signal

Does any R turn their back to signal the sideline infractions -- and/or the illegal forward pass? The book has the back turned, but I contend that is strictly to demonstrate the signal.

No. The signal chart is to illustrate what you do with your hand. You do not turn your back to give the signal.

On the signal chart it even says "face press box" with those illustrations.
