I think:
R 77 McAuley and R 63 Carollo will get the CCs. R 94 Carey will be the first African-American in history to Crew Chief America's biggest sports game.

Do you think Carey could take Hochuli?
Ed's obviously stronger, but Carey might be quicker and more stealthy. ![]()

Last year, if I remember correctly, two of the top three Rs did not even have crews in the top 8, which is interesting.
Are the officials from the super bowl not permitted to be in the top 3 the next year, or just precluded from the super bowl? If the latter, I think Corrente might turn up on Sunday. I have a feeling it's going to be Hochuli on Feb. 3. Just a hunch. |

![]() Personally, I think R 14 Ron Winter is long overdue for a high-profile playoff game. I've seen him in person and when seeing him on TV, I don't ever recall an issue with his game mgmt or call selection.

Just seems fitting that the league's most visible ref should get the game in his hometown. Not that the selection works that way. It just seems to fit is all. |
