I actually find jimpiano's posts useful, so I say let's keep him around.

His posts remind me how not to act on an internet forum, and in general on many cases. He's still a brother, or sorts, since he does officiate softball or something like that. Remember: it takes all kinds on this world! ;)

I have to agree with jimpiano here, you take away the fans at the College or Pro level and there will be no more sports. Fans are not only vital, but they are the most important aspect of college and pro sports. At these two levels it is all about the money and if the fans dry up so does the money and the sports very soon will follow. You can see this in the constant cut backs of athletic teams at the collegiate level, granted some of that has to do with Title IX but that is a topic for another discussion.
