Lineman On Punt Formation

Is there a rule in NFHS that dictates when a lineman gets in a 3-point stance all linemen need to get down or vice versa. Coach was in my ear all night about it we looked in the rule book at halftime and we couldn't find anything.

Thanks

No such requirement.

This is correct. We had a similar sit last Saturday, 8-man game. All but one linemen were in 3-point stance while the biggest one stayed in a 2-point stance. Amazing some coaches think there's a rule saying if one does it, they all have to do it. We didn't have a problem. It was the football game that turned into a basketball game! We had the damn running back and forth to worry about! :p

No such requirement on ANY down or formation.

Were they doing it in a way that you might think they were trying to make B encroach?

No, just the way they lined up, they did fake the punt and got the first down, I think that was the main reason the coach was upset
