Officiating in North Carolina

Gentlemen,
I am interested in officiating football. Where would I start and what are the requirements for High School officiating?

I played the game from pop warner to semi-pro. Coached and GM'd at the semi-pro level.

You are in NC so start here:

This will answer some of your questions. I don't know but I suspect yuou are too late for this season in school ball. Check in your area for youth football leagues as they may still be picking up guys although may even be too late for them for this year.

It's too late for this season but you can contact the booking agent in your area for next year.

Question about clinics. Who's responsible for "teaching" the rookies at the clinics?

Whoever the local association chooses to do so.

but is there a guideline as to years of experience or performance?

In the west we have a training committee

and those members are responsible for training newbies at their position. However we all pitch in and work with them.
