Cleanning Your Shoes After a Dusty Day?

Any suggestions or tips on the best way to get your shoes back in game shape after a day that is dry and dusty or wet and muddy.

Dry and dusty? Armor All Wipes.

I use my air compressor on my shoes. That generally does the job for mid week games. For Fridays, I get a wet rag and finish cleaning them.

I do a lot of games (probably 60-70%) on the fieldturf, so I have to deal with the black plastic stuff that gets in my shoes. But the AC blows that stuff as well as dust that accumulates. When I do a game on a bad grass field (i.e. no grass), then I use the AC first then the rag. If I have a mud game, I let it dry, get the caked on stuff off, then wash it off with the hose and dry with the AC. An AC is a great tool.

I'm not a big shoe shine guy. Clean, yes. Shinny? No.

Baby Wipes do the trick.

I have seen some people use scrubbing bubbles.

For the past 3 seasons I've used a product called "Leather Lube" that I found at a local shoe store. It is kind of a waxy product that you rub on the shoe and then wipe off. It helps waterproof the shoe leather and it when you wipe it off it removes a lot of the fine dust, dirt, etc. I've used it now for 3 seasons on the same pair of shoes and have never used polish but the shoes look polished and brand new after wiping this stuff off. After a muddy game I wipe off the majority of the muck and dry the shoes off before applying the leather lube. Also keeps the shoes really pliable.

If it's a dry dusty day I take the vacuum with the upholstery brush to them and they're as good as new.

I've used armor all wipes for about 4 years now, I've found nothing better.

Combination of Scrubbing Bubbles (if really bad), then Armor All Cleaning Wipes, then Armor All Protectant Wipes. Look like they came right out of the box.
