Penalty Summary Card

One of the guys in my crew pulled out a "Penalty Summary Card", last night during our game.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these. It was sized to fit in your data wallet and on the plastic media that the signal card is printed on.

I know this information is in the NFHS rule book, but would like to have it with me on the field.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Penalty Card

Who keeps track of the information- when you use a penalty card?

I have scratched the yardages of each penalty beside each signal and if it is a loss-of-down or automatic first down as well, you can't write on vinyl cards very easily. This way I can not only quickly look up and be sure of a seldom used signal but also get the right yardage and next down correct. It has been helpful a few times. It fits in the same folder as my game card and pencil.

I just take the penalty summary page out of the rule book and stick it in my game wallet. But I have my umpire carry one too so he can look it up while I stall. :) Never had to use it, but I like having it on the field for those brain-fart situations.

One option that has the signal and distances together his to circle the number of the signal on the signal chart in different colors. I circled the 5 yarders in green, 10 yarders in black, and 15 yarders in red. That way if needed I can see the signal and yardage with one glance. Make sure you use a permanent marker.

Which book and what page sir? This would be very helpful for a rookie like myself.

In the rule book. Toward the back, not sure of the page number, there is a one-page list of the fouls/penalties broken down by 5, 10 and 15 yards. It also includes those that include automatic first down or loss of down.

I looked on all of their websites and could not find that type of card. Do you have more information about where these cards can be found?

I don't think that anyone has a penalty enforcement card. They do have signal cards and you can add penalty information to them.
