Warrenkicker - thanks, poor choice of words on my part. What I should have said is that force is not a factor on kicks, or as MJT said - a kick is a kick is a kick. Discussions like this are great to get the cobwebs out of the football part of the brain!

But what's "fun" :eek: in Canadian football is when the loose ball is behind a team's goal line and that team kicks it out of bounds, not realizing that besides the option of a single or safety touch, the other team can choose to scrimmage at a very favorable spot (which I don't know under current am or pro rules).

Oh boy. C'mon you're stretching. I know you know that that doesn't need qualifying.
