Did any one see the Rams game today, the play where they hiked the ball directly to Faulk while Warner was walking away from the huddle, looked a lot like "where the tee type play. Does any one agree with me?

I missed it. But it doesn't matter. The NFL doesn't have a rule regarding such plays. The Steelers ran a similiar play last week.

Yeah! And I bet we see that next year in high school.

Of course, the coaches will say they saw it on TV.

This could bring up an entire discussion on "unfair tactics". NCAA rules state that simulated replacements or substitutions may not be used to confuse opponents. Does anyone think the situation mentioned would be illegal in NCAA or Federation rules?

San Clemente high school used a similar play against Chino high last year in the CIF SS D2 semi-finals.
The offense got set, then the QB started trotting over to the sidelines like he had just called timeout. Right before he got to the sideline, the ball was snapped to a running back who threw the ball to the QB streaking down the sideline for a long gain.
