I worked a police/fire full contact game a few years ago, and I would not work another. The game got ugly. Apparently most local police and fire units are friendly until they are competing against each other, then it gets personal. I hope this game goes much better than ours did, because it could not go much worse.

Understand that these are adults who have not been in contact sports for a few years or longer, so injuries are going to happen. Tempers will also flare. We ejected several players for fighting and had three ambulances on the field in the first half alone.

I would highly suggest playing flag football.
