Dr. Z article

I'm not the biggest Dr. Z fan but the headline caught my eye...

I disagree with his little rant at the end about "demeanor issues." Those things have almost as much to do with officiating than calling the game. Calling the game is easy, but if you hustle, getting into position and deal with coaches and your fellow partners in a proper way, that will help your over all officiating. No one is ever judge just on the job itself. Everyone is judged on things that help them do their job or the perception you give off while doing your job.

Peace

Good stuff in that article. It's nice to see some compliments for a change.

I had the same no-call in a state final this year. The hand brushed the face mask but didn't grasp it, thus, no call. Of course the fans saw it differently.
