How does your crew handle the blocking back on the "naked" side of the formation. Who helps?

5 Man, mechanics.

Perhaps U can watch that after determining the snapper is ok. However with only 5 out there there are areas that are lacking coverage. R really can't do it based on his angle through the holder to the far-side wing. The official on the wing is on the opposite side of the field and the guys under the uprights really can't see what that wingback is doing. The wing official from that side might be able to see something while also looking for the pull-and-shoots and watching the kick. The two guys in the back have to do more than just watch the kick. But the defensive formation will tell something of where we need to watch. The official's manual has that wing in U's area to watch.

My thoughts as well. The U is going to have to have one eye on the snapper and one eye on the line play. I can watch the center across the right side of the line (right foot kicker), but it's pretty hard to watch behind me.

Since the Referee should be on the naked side this season I would suggest the Referee take a wider than usual stance/angle and try to watch the guy the best you can.

I actually did this last night, keeping the OP's play in mind. It worked quite well and you can certainly get your view back down in time.
