Can't we all just get along?????????

C'mon fellas, there is enough business that we have to take on the field. Let's not give it to each other here.... OK?

Rich tends to get a little anal about things that he thinks are not right (no matter how much others might disagree). I was just commenting on his response. I did not realize it was that big of a deal about the spelling of a name that has more than one spelling. Just another thing that is only made a big deal on the internet and on discussion boards like this one. You do not see people going crazy like that in the “real world.”

Peace

Unlike you, right?

C'mon. John's right. Drop it.

Back to the thread: I saw the pants they were supposedly going to wear about a month and a half ago. The Honigs table at a meeting had some demos of the shirt, knickers, and pants they were supposedly going to wear (do a search for a thread I started on this). Looks like they either wised up or the rank and file told them they wouldn't wear them.

Good. I don't like the shirt much, but its a reasonable alternative. The pants and knickers was a totally stupid idea.

My sons Madden 2007 game has the officials in the new shirt. The pants are white knickers with a black stripe down the outside of the leg.

Which version of the game? I own Madden 2007 on the XBOX 360 and the PS2. The XBOX 360 uses white pants and the PS2 Version (usually same as the XBOX version) uses the black pants for cold weather situations.

Peace

It is just the regular XBOX. I haven't seen the cold weather game on there yet.

If it was that serious to you, my PM is turned on and I would drop them a note if it was that serious to me, which I cannot see how it would be. I guess life must be really good that this is an issue that someone can find a problem with.

What was this post about again?

Peace

I have to admit, sometimes I think the knickers time has passed, at least in very cold or wet weather. Yes, tradition is important but sometimes a change or two is in order. Personally I wish I could wear some windproof/waterproof sweats that keep the water and/or snow off my legs. I also think a darker color would be a lot easier to clean when an extremely muddy field is encountered.

Anyway, those are just my ramblings. I realize things will probably never change.

Eric

I'm generally a traditionalist but there is a point when it's prudent to move forward. If we didn't allow for that our referees would still be carrying horns. Anybody remember them?

I think it was rainy, not necessarily cold enough to bring out the winter uniform.

I can't wait to see the new winter uniform during a game. I've alway's wondered why in baseball the umpires get to look classy. In football they make us look like were dressing up for holloween. (there is something just not right about a fat 50yr old running around in white tights) TMO. But thats a discussion for a different time.
