removing helmet
 
can you have an unsportmanlike penalty if a player takes off his helmt on the filed of play because he is angry about a call/no call? he ripped his chinstrap off and took off his helmet in a rage. if you can give me a reference that would be great, if it is illegal.

NCAA - illegal

NFHS - no rule, although he could be flagged if he respknded after removing his helmet.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct. - 9-5-1.

It's not specifically mentioned in the NFHS Rule or Case Book, however, as it is in the NCAA Rule set, in 9-2-1-a-1-f.
